Sonoma County Cagers

The Cagers are currently taking sign-ups for the 2013 season.  Sign-ups are open through February 18th.  A $50 late fee will be assessed after Feb. 18th. Registration extended through Feb. 25th!

The Cagers are a competitive travel league.
Free Sunday night Clinics march 17th and 24th for all registered Cagers.

YMCA Junior Warriors Basketball League

This is a positive, supportive youth basketball league for children 6-15 years which emphasizes the fun of the sport, while keeping competition in perspective.
Registration runs through February 15th.
Practices run February 25th - May 17th.
Games are one hour per week on Saturdays from March 16th - May 18th.

Express Basketball Club

Travis Taylor, Head Varsity Coach at Windsor High School is the lead behind Express Basketball.
The clubs purpose is to prepare players to compete at the high school level.  Most games will be played in Marin, Walnut Creek or San Francisco area.  This program is designed for boys in grades 5th-8th.
Players participate in two workouts each week lasting one and a half to two hours long.  Practices are held at gyms in Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, or Windsor.  Registration is now Open and costs $300 pp.     Express
                                                

Maria Carrillo Alumn Receives PAC-12 Honors

Amanda Johnson, former Maria Carrillo girls basketball standout and current Oregon senior was named PAC-12 Womens Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Johnson averages 18.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game for Oregon.

Johnson is the only player in Oregon womens basketball program history to be named a three-time Academic All-American.

SSU Signs Analy HS Senior to Play Ball

SSU Head Basketball Coach Pat Fuscaldo and Assoc. Head Coach Rich Shayewitz announced tuesday (5/15/12) that the Sonoma State University Mens Basketball program have signed 3 current high school seniors to National Letters of Intent.

Isaiah Brown (Richmond, CA/Richmond HS), Michael Avery (Encino, Ca/Crespi Carmelite HS), and Nathan Molony-Benjamin (Sebastopol, Ca/Analy HS) will extend their basketball-playing careers with the Seawolves in 2012-13.                                                    Read More
