KAYAK ON THE RUSSIAN RIVER

A great way to spend the day is kayaking down the Russian River.  Summer is a fun time as you can cool off by tipping overboard and going for a swim.  Sometimes the water can get a bit low in places in the Summer though.

Springtime the water is cooler yet deeper - not likely to drag boat bottom in the Spring.

Lots of great beaches to stop and have a picnic, swim or enjoy some sun.

Check out some launch and rest spots.

CLINE CELLARS MISSION MUSEUM

Other than walking around the beautiful winery and museum, this is not a very sporting entry, though one worthy of noting.

It is FREE and Beautiful!

Cline Cellars is located in Sonoma and home to what was to be the original Sonoma mission until it was changed to what is now Downtown Sonoma. Since 2005, home to the entire California Mission Replicas.
